Keynote for Digital Story Telling

Picture
Picture
This page houses all of the videos created as a YouTube playlist and as the basis for an online course. They introduce vector graphic creation, digital story telling, the tools necessary to take it deeper, tutorials for animations and the use of multiple slides to take the process further than Apple intended.

udemy Crash Course in Keynote

Below is the animated/narrated version of a story I made with my daughter in Keynote.
The process:
  1. Write the story
  2. Illustrate in Keynote
  3. Animate
  4. Narrate (we chose to use GarageBand for editing and then adding to the exported QuickTime video file in iMovie but this isn't necessary).
  5. Upload to YouTube
  6. Make a book using Apple's Photo app for albums
  7. have a digital and hard copy version to share and enjoy
Blog post available here.
