Scratch Intro Project: Maze

Change the Sprites and Backgrounds and you change the theme to anything you like!
Sprite = Character (element)
Backdrop =  Background

A simple introduction for anyone to the wonders of Scratch!

This fun, engaging series of mini-lessons will take you step-by-step through the process of creating a simple maze. This one has a Halloween theme but change the Sprites and you change the theme.

It is recommended that you go through all of the slides and familiarise yourself with all the terms and steps first, creating your own working project before using this for your classes.

  1. Set up your account
  2. Follow the instructions from Step 1 with your class
  3. Once completed successfully click on the last slide to proceed to the next step (though all are outlined for you here)

NOTE: You may wish to show the "What is Scratch," video as a setup to the class.
