YouTube Tricks: Creation over Consumption

You can share with the world... Of course you don't have to! YouTube can be used as a video repository with private settings as well.

But why not get involved? Use and develop your voice. You don't need a million subscribers to have an impact. Start today and learn some tips & tricks right here to start your fan base.

XtraNormal

Use this tool right in YouTube to tell a story.
Students may learn and develop understanding of:

  • Digital story telling
  • Grammar of cinema
  • Video editing

Telling a story in 4 Scenes (Youtube.com/editor)

  1. Establishing Shot (Wide)
  2. Long Shot (Character in the location)
  3. Medium Shot (Closer to the action)
  4. Closeup (The point)
Please forgive image quality.
I made this in  minutes during presentation.

A dissolve transition indicates a change in time or location.
